Making and receiving calls is easy with the Magic Jack.  You have a couple of options available to you as well.  Either you can use a traditional phone to dial out and receive calls, or you can do it all through your computer.  Once you have finished installing your Magic Jack, just dial your friends and family using a full ten-digit number.

What  to expect when calling with Magic Jack

You do have to keep you computer on in order to make and receive calls with the Magic Jack, but most of us leave our computers on all the time nowadays.  If you do shut down your computer, do not worry Magic Jack will automatically forward your call to your free voicemail that is included with your annual fee.  You will also get an email when you have new voicemail messages.  There is also a three way calling feature included with your Magic Jack service.  You can easily make conference calls to more then one person, which is another convenient feature.  All you have to do is put one party on hold, and then with another party on the phone with you, just simply press ## to start your conference call.

There is nothing you cannot do with your Magic Jack.
